Base Stats
Attack and Sp. Def carry most of Ceruledge's stat budget. Sp. Atk's the obvious dump stat. Very hard to catch and yields 2 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
The fiery blades on its arms burn fiercely with the lingering resentment of a sword wielder who fell before accomplishing their goal.
Ceruledge Guide
Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Ceruledge. The 525 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked A-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Flash Fire is what you want on Ceruledge. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Weak Armor) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Ceruledge worth using. Flash Fire synergizes with Ceruledge's base 100 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Ceruledge is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Ceruledge has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
Game Availability
Ceruledge joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
