MT. MOON MAP
Mt. Moon has shrunk to one short chamber that ties Route 3 to Route 4, the open-air Square sitting just above. Nothing of the sprawling old maze is left.
Pokemon Encounters
Mt. Moon is a quieter cave than it once was, but Clefairy still dances through it, scarce at 5 percent by day and far bolder at 25 percent after dark. Sandshrew, Geodude, and Zubat fill the tunnels.

Silver
Mt. Moon Guide
Mt. Mortar is the big change. Its halls were dark in Gold and Silver, but Crystal brightened them, so Flash is no longer needed to get through. Two caves still go pitch black, Dark Cave and Kanto's Rock Tunnel, and the move only works outdoors once you hold the Zephyr Badge.
