Does Not EvolveJirachi Weakness
Fire and Ground moves hit Jirachi for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison-type moves can't touch it at all. With 8 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Jirachi's overall bulk (100/100/100) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ground |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Rock, Dragon, Steel |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Psychic |
| 0x (Immune) | Poison |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Jirachi Platinum Guide
In Platinum, use Jirachi as a sweeper. Physical side carries the damage. It outspeeds most threats,
For Platinum, run Jolly on Jirachi. +Speed is what matters, and the -Sp. Atk cut doesn't hurt this set. Fits the sweeper role.
Game Availability
Jirachi first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and has been available in 15 titles. Mythical distribution means event-only access in most games, making it one of the harder Pokemon to collect.
