This process is made slightly easier if you pair a profession like Tailoring since you can make gear that you then disenchant into materials. This Leveling guide for the enchanting profession will walk you through each level and list the material amounts you will need. This World of Warcraft Classic Enchanting Leveling Guide will list the Ingredients and Materials you will need to go from level 1 to the max level of 300 with the Enchanting Profession. You do not need the Tailoring Profession but it does help, you can also purchase materials from other players. Below we have listed the location of higher level Trainers since you will need to locate specific Trainers to unlock higher level Enchanting Profession and raise your Level Cap.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

You will obtain most of the Materials you will use for Crafting from Disenchanting Weapons, Armor and other items in WoW Classic. The higher the Level of that Weapon or Armor you disenchant, the higher of quality of materials if will give you which are used in higher level enchanting recipes.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Dust

How To Get Dust Materials for Enchanting. Disenchanting Armor has a higher rate of giving you Dust. If you also have the Tailoring Profession then you can make your own Dust Materials from Disenchanting Cloth Armor you make.

  • Soul Dust: Green Armor Level 21-30 | Tailor Azure Silk Pants

Level 1-2

As an Enchanter, you will need a special tool to enchant gear with. As you level up you will need to make these, materials needed for this can be purchased at the Enchanting Supply Vendor located near the Enchanting Trainer NPC.

  • Learn [Apprentice Enchanting] 
  • Materials Needed 1 Copper Rod + 1 Strange Dust + 1 Lesser Magic Essence
  • Make 1 Ruined Copper Rod

Level 2-75

Easy 70+ levels, after which you should learn the Journeyman Enchanting to increase your level cap.

  • Materials Needed 80 Strange Dust
  • Make 80 Enchant Bracer – Minor Health

Its that level again where you need to make another Rod, you can buy a Silver Rod from a Blacksmith and the Shadow Gem can be found from monster loot drops or bought from other players.

  • Materials Needed 1 Silver Rod + 6 Strange Dust + 3 Greater Magic Essence + 1 Shadow Gem
  • Make 1 Ruined Silver Rod

  • Make 5 Enchant Bracer – Minor Stamina

Pretty sure by now you are sick of enchanting bracers, well you are not done with those yet. This is the point however, you finally get to use some higher level dust. After this, you learn the Expert Training to increase your level cap and you will need to visit specific Trainers to learn the Expert Enchanting Training

  • Make 20 Enchant Bracer – Lesser Stamina

Now that your level cap is increased its time to make another Ruined Rod, this one will be golden and can be obtained from a blacksmith. The Iridescent Pearl can be found within a Clam or bought from other players.

  • Materials Needed 1 Golden Rod + 1 Iridescent Pearl + 2 Greater Astral Essence + 2 Soul Dust
  • Make 1 Ruined Golden Rod

This is it the final and most pricey out of all the rods you will have made by now.

  • Materials Needed 1 Arcanite Rod + 1 Golden Pearl + 10 Illusion Dust + 4 Greater Eternal Essence + 4 Small Brilliant Shard + 2 Large Brilliant Shard
  • Make 1 Ruined Arcanite Rod

You Reached Max Level Enchanting

Now that you have maxed out this profession you can enchant various types of weapons and gear for other players or for yourself, most of which can be learnt from Recipes purchased from various Vendors. We recommend collecting Recipes from the following Vendors:

(Note: Some vendors will require a Friendly, Honored, Revered or Exalted Standing just to purchase the Recipe from the Vendor.)

(Note: Keep in mind some of the Formulas are found as Drops from Bosses and various monster.)
