Is Aggron Good in FireRed & LeafGreen Playthrough?

Steel/Rock with AbilityRock Head for recoil-free attacks. Trade-only. If imported, the enormous Defense handles most physical matchups. The 4x Fighting and Ground weaknesses mean Giovanni and Bruno are dangerous. Strong where it's strong.

Aggron cannot be caught in this game. It must be traded in from a compatible game where it appears in the wild. On GBA, cross-region trading unlocks post-game after Celio's Sevii Islands Ruby & Sapphire quest. The Switch re-release supports only one-way transfers out to Pokemon HOME. Alternatively, transfer the pre-evolution and level it up to Lv 42.

Aggron Weakness

Type-wise, Aggron takes extra damage from Fighting, Ground, and Water. Watch out for Fighting and Ground attacks, those deal 4x damage. Poison moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 9 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Aggron's physical bulk (base 180 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
