Omastar's Rock/Water typing leaves it vulnerable to Grass, Electric, Fighting, and Ground. Grass hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. 5 resistances help offset the weaknesses. 115 Sp. Atk fires MoveSurf and MoveIce Beam hard enough to compete with the upper-tier Water-types. Rock/Water provides unique resistances alongside a devastating 4x Grass weakness. Held ItemLeftovers sustains. The Sp. Atk competes seriously when the Grass matchup is avoided.
