  • At 460 BST, Mr. Mime is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Not competitive in its current form.

  • Mr. Mime's biggest threats include Charizard (Fire), Pinsir (Bug), and Golem (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ghost, Dark, and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Mr. Mime's base 100 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.

  • Mime Jr evolves into Mr. Mime after learning Mimic. Mr. Mime evolves into Mr Rime at level 42. Mr. Mime is a middle-stage evolution in the Mime Jr line.

  • Vital Spirit is the go-to ability for Mr. Mime. It prevents sleep. Its hidden ability Ice Body can work in specific setups. Screen Cleaner is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.

  • Mr. Mime is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the pivot role.
