Dodrio Best Moveset
110 Attack tied with 110 Speed on Normal/Flying. The moveset runs fast physical dual TermStab that hits anything without Rock or Steel typing. 60/60 in both defenses means every strong hit threatens a KO. Pure glass offense, but the Speed means connecting first.
Second-fastest Normal-type after Persian in Gen I (Red & Blue). 110 Attack made it one of the best physical hitters available. Drill Peck was unique coverage.

Power creep overtook Dodrio completely in Gen V (Black & White). 110 Attack wasn't impressive anymore, and 100 Speed was merely average.

Dodrio Weakness
Electric, Ice, and Rock moves hit Dodrio for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground and Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. At base 110 Speed, Dodrio outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
| Damage | Types |

Base Stats
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Speed carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. A Triple Bird Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
When Doduo evolves into this odd breed, one of its heads splits into two. This Pokémon runs at nearly 40 mph.
Dodrio Guide
We rate Dodrio C-Tier: a situational pick that fills a niche. At 470 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Base 110 Attack stands out.
Watch for Raikou (Electric), Lapras (Ice), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Dodrio. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Dodrio's base 110 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Run Away ensures success fleeing from wild battles. That's the one you want on Dodrio. Tangled Feet is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Early Bird works too if your team needs something different.
Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Dodrio is a physical attacker with base 110 Attack. Best used as a sweeper.
Run Bravebird, Drillrun, Knock Off, and Quickattack on Dodrio. Bravebird is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
