USUM Dodrio Best Moveset
110 Attack at 110 Speed makes Dodrio one of the fastest physical attackers in the format. AbilityEarly Bird wakes from sleep in one turn. But Normal/Flying TermStab provides no super-effective coverage worth building around, and the moveset gets outclassed by other fast physical threats with better typing.

Dodrio Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, use Dodrio as a sweeper. Physical side carries the damage. It outspeeds most threats, Thrash is the primary attack.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, build your team around Whimsicott, Clefable, and Alakazam Mega. These have the highest co-usage rates with Dodrio in competitive formats. They cover each other's weaknesses.
Tangled Feet is the hidden ability. Doubles evasion when confused. Not always the best choice. Compare it to Dodrio's regular abilities before committing.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Jolly on Dodrio. +Speed is what matters, and the -Sp. Atk cut doesn't hurt this set. Fits the sweeper role.
Dodrio isn't catchable in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Catch one in Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee, then trade it to Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
