Base Stats
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Speed carry the offense, Sp. Def doesn't even come close. A Synchronize Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
This Pokémon apparently ties the base of its neck into a knot so that energy stored in its belly does not escape from its beak.
Flamigo Guide
We rate Flamigo C-Tier: a situational pick that fills a niche. At 500 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Base 115 Attack stands out.
Scrappy lets the Pokémon's normal and fighting moves hit ghost Pokémon. That's the one you want on Flamigo. Costar is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Tangled Feet works too if your team needs something different.
Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Flamigo is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Run Close Combat, Bravebird, U Turn, and Upperhand on Flamigo. Close Combat is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
