Yellow Lavender Town
A quiet town devoted to departed Pokemon, where the haunted Pokemon Tower rises and the Name Rater offers his service.
Lavender Town is in Kanto, with Route 10 to the north, Route 12 to the south, and the entrance to Pokémon Tower. In the story it comes after Rock Tunnel and continues west to Route 8.

Mr. Fuji's House
- On that first pass, shop at the Poke Mart south of the Pokemon Tower door, the first store that stocks Great Balls, Revives and Super Repels.
- Talking with Mr. Fuji at the top of the tower ends the rescue and sets you down inside Mr. Fuji's House by the door.
- Walk up the room and talk to Mr. Fuji at the back of his house to receive the Poke FlutePoke FluteFrom Mr. Fuji in the Pokémon House after rescuing him from Team Rocket at the Pokémon Tower, his thanks after rescuing him.
- Play the flute beside a sleeping Pokemon to wake it, Snorlax on the roads included.

Clear the Pokemon Tower and Mr. Fuji rewards you with the Poke Flute, the only thing that wakes the two Snorlax asleep on Routes 12 and 16.

Lavender Town Guide
Mostly just one. Lt. Surge is the leader Yellow retuned toward the anime, and his upgraded Raichu can stop an underprepared team cold. Brock and Misty play about the same as in Red and Blue. The difficulty isn't a steady climb, more a couple of spikes you can plan around once you know they're coming.
