Is Jumpluff Good in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Playthrough?
Jumpluff's 110 Speed is impressive, but 55 in every offensive stat means it can't threaten anything. AbilityChlorophyll is redundant when it's already the fastest Grass-type around. Support moves only, and even those have better users.

Jumpluff Weakness
Ice, Fire, Poison, Flying, and Rock moves hit Jumpluff for super-effective damage. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. Jumpluff's special bulk (base 95 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

ORAS Jumpluff Best Moveset
Grass/Flying at 110 Speed with AbilityChlorophyll doubling it to 220 in sun. But 55 offenses can't capitalize on the speed advantage. The moveset offers the fastest sun Pokemon in the format but can't deal meaningful damage, filling only a MoveSleep Powder support role.

Without breeding, Jumpluff misses out on Amnesia and Aromatherapy. That's 11 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Solar Beam and Energy Ball, with Normal and Fairy coverage and more rounding things out.

Jumpluff Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Don't let Jumpluff's 460 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a pivot. Sleep Powder with Nothing is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Cloyster (Ice), Arcanine (Fire), and Nidoking (Poison) when using Jumpluff. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Cloyster is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Flying and Rock-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Run Chlorophyll on Jumpluff. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Jumpluff also gets Leaf Guard and Infiltrator, but they don't compare.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Jumpluff fills the pivot role. It's a physical attacker with base 55 Attack. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Sleep Powder, Acrobatics, Seedbomb, and Swords Dance on Jumpluff. Sleep Powder is the most common pick at 0% usage. Acrobatics provides reliable STAB damage.
