Is Abomasnow Good in Legends: Z-A Playthrough?
Mega Abomasnow pushes the Attack and Special Attack high enough to hit hard from both sides. Grass and Ice coverage handles Dragon encounters from SBC Lebanne and Ground-types across the factions. The four-times Fire weakness is a real liability against Team Flare Nouveau, but against everything else, the offensive output pulls its weight.

TMs carry this one. Abomasnow learns Leaf Storm and Wood Hammer naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Fighting and beyond give it real matchup play.

Abomasnow Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Snow Warning changes the entire equation for Abomasnow. The 594 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a wallbreaker. Blizzard with Icyrock is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Abomasnow does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Abomasnow hits 694 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Abomasnow's biggest threats include Charizard (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Nidoking (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Charizard is the most dangerous since Fire moves deal 4x damage. Flying, Bug, Rock, and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 30 Speed, Abomasnow won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Snow Warning is what you want on Abomasnow. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. On wall sets, Snow Warning pairs with Abomasnow's base 105 Defense to absorb physical hits on the switch.
Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Abomasnow is a mixed attacker with base 132 Attack and 132 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a wallbreaker.
