Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Sp. Def carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Flame Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
Inhaled air is carried to its flame sac, heated, and exhaled as fire that reaches over 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
It fluffs out its fur collar to cool down its body temperature, which can reach 1,650 degrees Fahrenheit.
Flareon Weakness
Flareon is weak to Water, Ground, and Rock. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Flareon's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Legends: Z-A Evolution
Eevee's line splits into 8 evolutions, and Flareon is the item path. Each sibling form needs a different method to obtain. Breed through Eevee to get eggs. How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Flareon Best Moveset
The moveset leans on Grass and Normal coverage to catch would-be counters. Toxic Orb means self-poison for Guts or Poison Heal activation for Flareon, and max Attack and Speed EVs make sure nothing walls it cleanly. Guts fills in the gaps.

Moves
TMs carry this one. Flareon learns Flare Blitz and Fire Blast naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Dark and Normal and beyond give it real matchup play.

How to Get Flareon in Legends: Z-A
Flareon Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Flareon. The 525 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flare Blitz with Toxic Orb is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Flareon. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Guts) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Flareon worth using. Flash Fire synergizes with Flareon's base 110 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Flareon is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
For Legends: Z-A, the core moveset is Flare Blitz, Trailblaze, Facade, and Quickattack. Flare Blitz leads at 19% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
