Flareon Weakness
Flareon is weak to Water, Ground, and Rock. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Flareon's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

How to Get Flareon in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
No wild encounters for Flareon in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Bring Eevee over from Red, Yellow, or Ultra Sun, then level through the stages. Each step in the chain is laid out below.
Flareon Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Flareon. The 525 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flare Blitz with Silkscarf is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Flareon. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Guts) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Flareon worth using. Flash Fire synergizes with Flareon's base 110 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Flareon is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, the best way to handle Flareon: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
