ALL LEGENDS: Z-A POKEMON

Legends: Z-A brings Mega Evolution back to the center of the battle system. Set in Lumiose City, it uses the Legends: Arceus action RPG format with Agile and Strong styles. New Mega forms join returning favorites, and the Mega Dimension DLC expands the roster further. Your Mega pick shapes your team since only one Pokemon can Mega Evolve per battle.

How to access additional Pokemon in Legends: Z-A

The Lumiose Pokedex lists 232 Pokemon, all found within Lumiose City and its districts. Starters are Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile, a cross-gen mix like Legends: Arceus. Mega Evolution unlocks after Main Mission 9 (around Rank V), where you defeat a Rogue Mega Absol and receive your first Mega Stone plus the Mega Bracelet.

Mega Stones come from three sources: story rewards for beating Rogue Megas, the Stone Emporium in southern Lumiose, and Quasartico Inc. in northern Lumiose (costs Mega Shards). The Mega Dimension DLC opens a Hyperspace Pokedex with 132 additional species through dimensional portals. Legendaries like Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Darkrai are locked behind these DLC portals.
