Stats & Training
Beedrill's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Defense trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 3 Attack and Sp. Def EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Its best attack involves flying around at high speed, striking with poison needles, then flying off.

Beedrill Weakness
Beedrill's Bug/Poison typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Flying, Psychic, and Rock. It resists 5 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Beedrill's special bulk (base 80 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Sniper isn't flashy, but it matters. Combined with Life Orb for extra damage on every hit for a health trade and max Attack and Speed EVs, Beedrill fills the physical attacker slot reliably. Adamant nature finishes the spread.

Without TMs, Beedrill's movepool is bare bones. With them, you get coverage across 8 types on top of Bug Buzz and Sludge Bomb for STAB. The natural kit handles basics, but TMs are doing the real work.

How to Get Beedrill in Legends: Z-A
Beedrill isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Weedle from Red, Gold, or FireRed. The evolution path from Weedle to Beedrill is covered in the steps below.
Beedrill Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Beedrill has a 395 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Legends: Z-A's meta. It works best as a balanced. Drillrun with Life Orb is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Beedrill does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Beedrill hits 495 BST.
Swarm strengthens bug moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. That's the one you want on Beedrill. Sniper is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Legends: Z-A, Beedrill fills the balanced role. It's leaning toward the physical side (base 90 Attack). Base 75 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
Game Availability
Beedrill first appeared in Red & Blue and spans 19 games across 10 generations. It later gained a Mega form in Generation 7, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
