The level-up pool tells the story here. Lampent learns Flamethrower and Overheat naturally, plus enough variety that TMs feel like bonuses. Dark and Grass coverage and more extends the reach beyond that.

  • Lampent's biggest threats include Gyarados (Water), Garchomp (Ground), and Golem (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ghost and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • Litwick evolves into Lampent at level 41. Lampent is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Litwick.

  • Lampent gets Flash Fire, Flame Body, and Infiltrator. But Flash Fire is the one that matters — it's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
