Stats & Training
Attack and Sp. Atk carry most of Abomasnow's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Attack and Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It lives a quiet life on mountains that are perpetually covered in snow. It hides itself by whipping up blizzards.
They appear when the snow flowers bloom. When the petals fall, they retreat to places unknown again.
Abomasnow Weakness
Abomasnow is weak to Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Bug, Rock, and Steel. Watch out for Fire attacks, those deal 4x damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.

How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Abomasnow Best Moveset
For a defensive wall, Abomasnow wants max HP and Sp. Def EVs and Lightclay. The Calm nature tilts toward special wall duty, and Snow Warning contributes without taking a move slot.

Moves
TMs carry this one. Abomasnow learns Leaf Storm and Wood Hammer naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Fighting and beyond give it real matchup play.

How to Get Abomasnow in Legends: Z-A
Abomasnow isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Snover from Diamond, Platinum, or Sword. The evolution path from Snover to Abomasnow is covered in the steps below.
Abomasnow Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Snow Warning changes the entire equation for Abomasnow. The 494 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier. Blizzard with Lightclay is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Abomasnow does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Abomasnow hits 594 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Abomasnow's biggest threats include Charizard (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Nidoking (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Charizard is the most dangerous since Fire moves deal 4x damage. Flying, Bug, Rock, and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Snow Warning is what you want on Abomasnow. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Soundproof) work on paper but Snow Warning is what makes Abomasnow worth using.
At base 60 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Abomasnow is a special attacker with base 92 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Since debuting in Diamond & Pearl, Abomasnow has appeared in 14 titles over 7 generations. Along the way, it received a Mega form in Generation 6, keeping it relevant across different competitive metas.
