Fire is a dangerous matchup for Abomasnow — quadruple damage means one hit can end things. Snow Warning helps compensate. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets. Introduced in Gen 4.
Attack and Sp. Atk carry most of Abomasnow's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Moderately hard to find and yields 2 Attack and Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
A powerful Pokémon that can split huge boulders with ease. Dislikes associating with others and chooses to live quietly deep within the mountains, playing with the snow.
Abomasnow Weakness
FragileAbomasnow is weak to Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Bug, Rock, and Steel-type moves. Watch out for Fire attacks, those deal 4x damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.
Evolved from Snover. Abomasnow is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. HP grew the most through evolution (+30 over Snover), and Abomasnow peaks at 494 total stats.
How to Evolve
Abomasnow doesn't rely on pure speed. Leftovers gives it passive recovery each turn to stay healthy, and Adamant nature still pushes offense. Wood Hammer and the remaining moves keep the pressure on while max HP and Attack EVs balance power and survivability.
