Vladimir Counters Classic 26.22

Open with Dark Wind on a minion next to him. It hops to nearby enemies up to five times, silencing every victim it strikes. So a wisp aimed at the wave can still reach Vladimir. A silence blocks ability activation, and Sanguine Pool, Transfusion and Tides of Blood all need a cast.

With Terrify already spent, the button that sends him running is gone for a while. It comes back no sooner than eleven seconds, and that is at its last rank. Drain is a channel you hold for five seconds that gives the bigger part of its damage to you as health.

Hemoplague raises the damage his enemies inside its area take, and lands again a few seconds later. So do not drop Crowstorm onto ground Vladimir has already infected. Crowstorm costs you a second and a half of channel first, long enough for Vladimir's jungler to arrive.

Crimson Pact pays Vladimir bonus health for the ability power he buys. Null Zone scales off his maximum health each second, so every point of that health makes the zone hit harder. Stacking Tides of Blood pushes his healing up at the same time, so the zone alone is not a plan.

Nether Grasp has to pick a champion, and it cannot pick Vladimir while he is sunk inside Sanguine Pool. Let the pool run its two seconds out, then grasp him, because suppression stops him acting for the length of your channel.

Lead with Call of the Void. The silence it lands keeps Sanguine Pool out of his hands, and nothing else in your kit reaches as far. Vladimir has an item answer, though. When Spirit Visage stops holding up against your burst, he can move to Abyssal Scepter. Every spell you cast is magic damage.
