Poppy Counters Classic 26.22

Spend your own health on purpose here. Reckless Swing opens a wound on you every time it lands on Poppy, and Berserker Rage turns that missing health into attack speed. Devastating Blow will not shrink alongside you, since its bonus is measured against your maximum health rather than the health you currently hold.

Poppy collects Paragon of Demacia stacks from basic attacks in either direction, hers or yours, so a long trade hands her armor and damage while missing health has Berserker Rage swinging you faster into it. Her active fills all ten stacks at once, so that armor can be waiting before your first swing lands.

Undertow only touches Poppy if the axe travels through her, so aim past her feet rather than short of them. Paragon of Demacia's active also carries five seconds of extra movement speed, and the slow the axe leaves fades as it runs.

Blinded swings never reach her Paragon of Demacia stack. That passive grows on basic attacks that deal damage. Blinding Dart lands its magic damage and her attacks stop connecting. Throw it as she winds up. Nothing about the dart slows her walk toward you.

Every basic attack that puts Toxic Shot on her also feeds Paragon of Demacia, since damage she takes builds that stack too. Blinding her removes her swings from the trade, though every hit of yours still hardens her.

Teemo can be walking and hidden at once, provided the walk stays inside brush. Camouflage asks for the opposite everywhere else, a Teemo who has stopped moving and stopped acting, and Poppy is already closing by then. Open from the brush line, and go back to it between trades.

Heroic Charge carries its target, and a terrain collision adds the high-damage hit plus a stun. Thundering Shuriken puts one Mark of the Storm on Poppy when it connects during that approach. Two more applications complete your stun, provided they land before the first mark's six and one quarter seconds expire.

Nearby minions cannot enter Slicing Maelstrom's random target pool because the storm seeks nearby enemy champions for three seconds. When Poppy is the sole nearby champion, a surrounding minion wave does not divide those strikes. Another enemy champion entering the area makes the storm's targeting uncertain.

Devastating Blow takes its bonus from an eight percent share of your maximum health, capped by rank, so losing current health does not lower that calculation. The first completion of three Marks of the Storm stuns Poppy for one and a quarter seconds. Use that pause to end the exchange before another blow.
