Lissandra Counters Classic 26.22
Lissandra wants you standing next to her, because Ring of Frost roots everything in reach. Fight from outside that circle, and remember Frozen Tomb can be turned on herself, so burst spent on a low Lissandra is often wasted.
The play Sit on the wave until Glacial Path is spent, then take the fight.
Who Counters Lissandra in LoL Classic?
The threat board · every lane, gradedIceborn only shortens its eighteen second timer when a slow or root lands, and these six rarely give Lissandra one. Poke from mid clearly favors Brand and Ryze, under two harder lanes.

How to Counter Lissandra in LoL Classic
Counter guideLissandra's whole bar is magic damage, which makes Kassadin decisive, since
Void Stone skims
Ice Shard,
Ring of Frost and
Glacial Path alike before any of them arrive. Anivia runs away with it a different way:
Flash Frost stuns on arrival and
Glacial Storm keeps raining on Lissandra afterwards.
Fox-Fire hands Ahri a firm edge, because three fires go looking for Lissandra at once.
Playing Kassadin into Lissandra
Lissandra needs two presses of Glacial Path to travel. Riftwalk moves Kassadin on the first.

Null Sphere fits into the gap inside
Glacial Path, after the claw is out and before Lissandra reactivates it. A silence landed in that window leaves her in melee range with Kassadin and an exit ability she has already spent.
Lissandra's ultimate does not stop at the body it lands on. Dark ice spreads out of
Frozen Tomb, damaging the enemies nearby and slowing them as it goes. Kassadin spends the lane closing that distance, and the ice is waiting for him when he finally does.
Kassadin crosses ground with
Riftwalk and leaves the same way.
Ring of Frost roots him the moment he is close enough to swing. So the arrival and the root land together. The trade you wanted now starts with you held still. Time your entry off that root.
Playing Anivia into Lissandra
Frostbite hits twice as hard on a Lissandra that Flash Frost or Glacial Storm has already chilled.

Glacial Storm goes down on the ground you pick, and it damages Lissandra for every second she stays under it. The chill it leaves slows her swings and her steps, so she needs longer to do anything about the hail sitting on her.
Anivia can put the ice behind Lissandra just as easily as in front of her. Nothing walks through
Crystallize while it stands, so a wall dropped on her way home turns a poke trade into a fight she has to see through.
Anivia's return runs through a shell that has to outlast six seconds of ice. The claw from
Glacial Path carries magic damage out ahead of Lissandra, so the egg is losing health before she has crossed any ground. Fight the trade as though
Rebirth is not coming.
Playing Ahri into Lissandra
Charm wins the trade and loses the spacing at the same time.

Ahri's kiss works from range, while
Ring of Frost only reaches enemies already standing beside Lissandra. So a
Charm that connects saves Lissandra the approach, and she arrives with the root ready. Ahri spends the rest of that trade inside Lissandra's reach.
Ahri's
Orb of Deception reaches Lissandra twice on one cast, once going out and once on the way home, and seven seconds later Ahri can throw it again. Win the lane in throws like that, and make Lissandra be the one who has to walk.
Lissandra keeps
Frozen Tomb for the moment Ahri arrives, and a champion frozen solid does not get to finish the dashes she started. Spend all three presses closing, and the freeze catches an Ahri with no way back out.
