Darius Counters Classic 26.22

Darius cannot slow you without landing a basic attack first, and Crippling Strike only arms his next swing. Time Blinding Dart into that swing and it finds empty air. Toxic Shot runs the other way, laying poison on him with each attack of your own.

One hit from Darius cancels the passive speed on Move Quick, so the sprint has to carry you out once Crippling Strike lands. His swings do not take that away. The sprint ends after three seconds, and you are back to walking pace inside his reach.

Walking through brush does not break the stealth on Camouflage, so Darius loses sight of the target he was closing on. That stealth also hands you extra attack speed on the way out. Apprehend takes a percentage off your Armor on all of his physical damage, and he never has to press it.

Kayle slows Darius without taking a step toward him. Reckoning arrives from outside his swing, drags his movement speed down, and lifts your damage on him for the three seconds it holds. Crippling Strike wants him standing beside you first.

Count Crippling Strike as an attack speed problem as much as a movement one, because Righteous Fury does all of its damage through basic attacks. Kite backward while the slow runs. Reckoning still lands from where you are standing, so backing up does not end your damage.

Once Darius picks his target for Noxian Guillotine, Intervention can drop damage immunity onto that champion before the axe arrives. Only one target takes it, so the immunity goes on you or on the ally he jumped at. Darius does not wait for you to decide.
