For Black 2 & White 2, we rate Hypno C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. At 483 BST, it fits the support role. Bellydrum with Leftovers is the standard set.
Insomnia prevents sleep. That's the one you want on Hypno. Inner Focus is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Forewarn works too if your team needs something different.
At base 67 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Hypno is a physical attacker with base 73 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a support.
In Black 2 & White 2, run Bellydrum, Drain Punch, Zenheadbutt, and Magiccoat on Hypno. Bellydrum is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
