Gardevoir doesn't stand out in any single area, but it gets the job done for in-game teams. Only weak to Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Been around since Gen 3. It needs some investment to avoid getting outsped. Known as the Embrace Pokemon.
Gardevoir's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.

VulnerableType-wise, Gardevoir takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Gardevoir's special bulk (base 115 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Breed with Gardevoir to get Ralts eggs easily from the Indeterminate and Humanshape egg groups. Notable egg moves include Confuse Ray, Destiny Bond, Disable and 7 more.
Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Gardevoir can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max HP and Speed EVs with Trace back that up. The remaining moves prevents free switches.

Gardevoir has a 518 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Base 125 Sp. Atk is where it shines.
Gardevoir's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Absol (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Synchronize is the go-to ability for Gardevoir. It copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Trace is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Gardevoir fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 125 Sp. Atk. Base 80 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
