Best Locations
Ralts is meant to evolve into Kirlia. At 198 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Ralts's biggest threats include Scyther (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 40 Speed, Ralts won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Ralts evolves into Kirlia at level 20. Ralts is the base form in a 4-stage evolutionary line.
Synchronize is the go-to ability for Ralts. It copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Trace is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
