Ralts sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Gardevoir as fast as possible. Introduced in Gen 3. Dragon moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively.
An unusually even spread gives Ralts flexibility. Sp. Atk barely edges ahead. But Attack isn't far off. Easy to catch and follows a slow 1.25M XP grind. Yields 1 Sp. Atk EV.
The horns on its head provide a strong power that enables it to sense people’s emotions.
It is highly attuned to the emotions of people and Pokémon. It hides if it senses hostility.
Ralts Weakness
GoodRalts is weak to Poison, Ghost, and Steel-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Dragon-type moves entirely. Standard number of weaknesses for the Psychic/Fairy typing.
From here, Ralts's line branches into Gardevoir and Gallade. That's 2 possible evolutions, each with its own method. Evolving adds up to 320 stat points total.

Breed Ralts easily from the Indeterminate and Humanshape egg groups.
Ralts's locked into one move per switch-in with Choice Scarf, trading flexibility for speed patching through item lock. Psychic is the go-to spam option, with the remaining moves keeping switch-ins honest.

Ralts is meant to evolve into Kirlia. At 198 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Ralts's biggest threats include Nidoking (Poison), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Scizor (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 40 Speed, Ralts won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Ralts evolves into Kirlia at level 20. Ralts is the base form in a 4-stage evolutionary line.
Synchronize is the go-to ability for Ralts. It copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Trace is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Ralts is a special attacker with base 45 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Fragile — can't afford to take many hits.
