Stats & Training
Gardevoir's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 3 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
To protect its Trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole.
It unleashes psychokinetic energy at full power when protecting a Trainer it has bonded closely with.
Gardevoir Weakness
Type-wise, Gardevoir takes extra damage from Poison, Ghost, and Steel. Dragon moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Gardevoir's special bulk (base 115 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Legends: Z-A Evolution
Gardevoir is one of 2 ways Kirlia's chain can end. This one takes the level-up path, while the siblings go different directions. Breed through Ralts to get eggs. Gardevoir and Gallade share the same 518 total stats, but they're distributed differently. Check the comparison below to see where each one specializes. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.

Legends: Z-A Gardevoir Best Moveset
Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Gardevoir can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs with Trace back that up. Double STAB prevents free switches.

TMs define Gardevoir's movepool. The natural moves cover basics with Future Sight and Dream Eater, but the real versatility comes from technical machines giving it coverage across 7 types. That's where the options open up.

How to Get Gardevoir in Legends: Z-A
Gardevoir isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Ralts from Ruby, Emerald, or Sword. The evolution path from Ralts to Gardevoir is covered in the steps below.
Gardevoir Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Gardevoir has a 518 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in Legends: Z-A for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Moonblast with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Gardevoir does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Gardevoir hits 618 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Gardevoir's biggest threats include Gengar (Poison), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Metagross (Steel), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Synchronize is the go-to ability for Gardevoir. It copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Trace is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Legends: Z-A, Gardevoir fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 125 Sp. Atk. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Gardevoir first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and spans 17 games across 8 generations. It later gained a Mega form in Generation 6, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
