Tynamo sits at the start of its evolution line — not yet at full power, but that changes fast. Most trainers push through to Eelektross as fast as possible. Only weak to Ground. Known as the EleFish Pokemon.
You won't find a real weakness in Tynamo's stat line. It's well-rounded for the EleFish Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 1 Speed EV, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
One alone can emit only a trickle of electricity, so a group of them gathers to unleash a powerful electric shock.
Tynamo Weakness
GoodType-wise, Tynamo takes extra damage from Ground. Not many exploitable gaps in the Electric typing defensive chart. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Tynamo kicks off a three-stage evolution line through Eelektrik all the way to Eelektross. For breeding, average hatch time with no compatible partners via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 240 stat points total.
