Froslass Evolutions
Froslass is one of 2 ways Snorunt's chain can end. This one takes the item path, while the siblings go different directions. Breed through Snorunt to get eggs. Froslass and Glalie share the same 480 total stats, but they're distributed differently. Check the comparison below to see where each one specializes. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Froslass to get Snorunt eggs using 38 partners from the Fairy and Mineral egg groups. Notable egg moves include Avalanche, Bide, Block and 6 more.
B2W2 Froslass Best Moveset
110 Speed fires before most targets, and Ice/Ghost TermStab covers different types than most other leads. MoveSpikes sets hazards, and AbilityCursed Body randomly disables opponent moves on contact. The moveset answers slower targets and sets hazards before going down. 70/70 defenses don't survive much.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. Avalanche and Bide give Froslass options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 9 types already covers a decent range on top of Blizzard and Ice Beam. The egg moves push it further.

Froslass Black 2 & White 2 Guide
For Black 2 & White 2, we rate Froslass C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. At 480 BST, it fits the hazard setter role. Ice Beam with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Froslass's biggest threats include Blaziken (Fire), Rhyperior (Rock), and Gengar (Ghost), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Dark and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Froslass's base 110 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Snow Cloak is the go-to ability for Froslass. It increases evasion to 1.25× during hail. Its hidden ability Cursed Body can work in specific setups.
Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Froslass is a special attacker with base 80 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a hazard setter.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Ice Beam, Spikes, Destinybond, and Taunt. Ice Beam leads at 0% usage. This set covers the hazard setter role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Obtainable through an item-based evolution, Froslass appears in 14 titles across 7 generations since Diamond & Pearl. The evolution method adds a barrier that wild-catchable Pokemon don't have.
