Is Ditto Good in FireRed & LeafGreen Playthrough?
Paralysis can't stick thanks to AbilityLimber, which barely matters when Ditto transforms on turn one. The copy takes everything except HP. Useful for novelty. Not for serious team building. Ditto occasionally wins fights it has no business winning.

Ditto Weakness
Ditto is weak to Fighting. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. Only 1 weakness makes it relatively easy to build around defensively.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fighting |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move

Ditto Evolutions
Ditto is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through one egg group with no compatible partners. Hatching is average hatch time. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Ditto can breed with almost any Pokemon, making it essential for breeding genderless Pokemon and passing down IVs.
FRLG Ditto Best Moveset
AbilityLimber prevents paralysis on a Pokemon whose only move is MoveTransform. Copying the opponent's stats and moves creates a mirror match, but transforming takes a turn. The moveset is literally one move, and the speed disadvantage of going second to copy usually ends badly.

Moves List
Ditto's options are limited here. You've got Normal STAB for STAB damage, but there isn't much beyond Normal hitting power. TMs help fill gaps, though the kit stays tight.
