Renekton Counters Classic 26.22

Once Decisive Strike's silence lands, Renekton cannot start Slice and Dice, so his dash is off the table for that stretch. Reign of Anger still takes Fury from his autoattacks, though, so the meter moves through the silence.

Walk him down while Decisive Strike's burst of pace is still running. Land the swing at the end of it, because the silence only means something once the attack connects. Catch him as he lands from Slice and Dice. Cull the Meek stays unpressed.

Renekton reaches you with Slice and Dice, and Dominus adds health and damage around him once he is there. Hold the swing until he arrives. A silence spent on the way in leaves the ultimate free, and Fury builds itself while he is transformed.

Malphite's armor does double duty here, since Ground Slam draws part of its damage from that same armor and Brutal Strikes raises it on demand for six seconds. Renekton's Slice and Dice, once Fury is behind it, pulls armor back off him, so the dash that arrives also trims the slam waiting for it.

Press Ground Slam the moment he attaches, since the attack speed cut runs three seconds and Reign of Anger takes its Fury from swings that land. Fewer swings, slower meter. Seismic Shard then moves a share of his speed onto Malphite for four seconds, and the exit gets easier for it.

Once Renekton spends Slice and Dice, the stolen speed stops mattering and he arrives anyway. Granite Shield rebuilds after ten seconds with nothing landing on Malphite, which a melee champion attached to him can prevent. Unstoppable Force knocks him into the air for a second and a half, so press it as he lands.

Ahri's kiss connects and Renekton walks the last of the ground for her, since a charmed enemy has no say in the direction. The hold itself is short. The six seconds after it are not, because Charm leaves him taking a fifth more damage from Ahri the whole way through.

Renekton's stun from Ruthless Predator eats part of the window Spirit Rush opens, since a stunned champion cannot act while those ten seconds keep passing. Save a dash for it. Finish the trade Charm started from further out than it began.

Whenever Renekton drops low, Reign of Anger hands him extra Fury on top of what his swings collect. A bar that looks finished can still turn around. Dominus adds health on the cast as well. Point the last dash away from him. Let Charm come back before the next approach.
