This Pokedex tracks every Pokemon confirmed for Winds & Waves so far. The roster pulls from across all previous generations, with Ghost and Bug types better represented than you'd expect. Centiskorch (Fire/Bug, 525 BST), Overqwil (Dark/Poison), and Lokix (Bug/Dark) add coverage beyond the Water-heavy core. Use the type and generation filters to explore what's available. The full dex will be much larger than what's shown here.

  • The full roster is still being revealed. The confirmed list includes returning Pokemon from across multiple generations plus three brand-new Gen 10 starters: Browt (Grass), Pombon (Fire), and Gecqua (Water). This page updates with every official reveal.

  • Water and Poison types dominate the confirmed roster. Qwilfish (Water/Poison), Jellicent (Water/Ghost), and Mareanie fit the ocean theme. Ghost types are well-represented too, with Dusknoir, Cursola, and Palossand. The distribution will shift as more inland and urban Pokemon get revealed.

  • Yes. The three starters are the first Gen 10 originals shown. Their final evolutions and typings haven't been revealed yet. More new Pokemon are expected, including regional forms, a box legendary pair, and whatever the new battle gimmick introduces. Check the Winds & Waves tier list for rankings as they're added.

  • The confirmed returnees span Gen 1 through Gen 9. Notable picks include Raichu, Swellow, Centiskorch, Tropius, and Seismitoad. The selection leans toward Pokemon that fit tropical and ocean environments, but there are surprises in the mix.

  • Yes. Use the sidebar filters on this page to narrow by type, generation, base stats, or competitive tier. Dual-type Pokemon show up under both of their types. The filters work with whatever portion of the dex has been revealed so far.

  • Switch 2 only. Winds & Waves won't be playable on the original Switch. It's a ground-up next-gen title launching in 2027. Game Freak announced it on February 27, 2026, on the franchise's 30th anniversary.
