How to Get Pelipper in Winds & Waves
Location info for Winds & Waves is not yet available.
Location details will be added when the game launches.
Pelipper Weakness
Pelipper's Water/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric and Rock. Electric hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Ground-type attacks completely. It resists 5 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Pelipper's physical bulk (base 100 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Electric |
| 2x (Weak) | Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Fighting, Bug, Steel |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground |

WW Pelipper Best Moveset
Years at the bottom until Gen VII (Sun & Moon) gave Pelipper AbilityDrizzle, turning it into the mandatory rain setter overnight. That one ability change vaulted it to the top. This moveset runs Held ItemDamp Rock with NatureModest and Water/Flying moves to extend rain and hit hard while the weather is up.

Base Stats
Pelipper's spread isn't flashy. Defense leads, Attack trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Pelipper Winds & Waves Guide
For Winds & Waves, it depends on your team. Pelipper at 440 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Water/Flying coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
In Winds & Waves, Don't let Pelipper's 440 base stat total fool you. Drizzle is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it D-Tier. Hurricane with Damprock is the standard set.
In Winds & Waves, Run Drizzle on Pelipper. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Pelipper also gets Keen Eye and Rain Dish, but they don't compare.
In Winds & Waves, Pelipper fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
