Levitate gives it a Ground immunity, adding real value on top of Eelektross's already solid stats. Electric typing means only weak to Ground. Known as the EleFish Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.

Attack and Sp. Atk carry most of Eelektross's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.

Eelektross Weakness

Good

Eelektross is weak to Ground. Few weaknesses and 3 resistances make the typing clean. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 85 HP and balanced defenses, Eelektross can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Getting Eelektross requires an evolution item, not just grinding levels. The chain starts at Tynamo. Breed this form to get Tynamo eggs (average hatch time). Attack grew the most through evolution (+60 over Tynamo), and Eelektross peaks at 515 total stats.

  • Levitate changes the entire equation for Eelektross. The 515 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker.

  • Eelektross's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Eelektrik evolves into Eelektross using a Thunder Stone. Eelektross is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Tynamo. At 515 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Levitate is what you want on Eelektross. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.

  • Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Eelektross is a mixed attacker — base 115 Attack and 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • Eelektross appears in 9 games, including Black & White, Black 2 & White 2, and X & Y.

Eelektross joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 9 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
