Eelektross Winds & Waves Guide

  • In Winds & Waves, Levitate changes the entire equation for Eelektross. The 515 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flamethrower with Assault Vest is the standard set.

  • In Winds & Waves, Eelektross's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Levitate is what you want on Eelektross. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.

  • Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Eelektross is a mixed attacker with base 115 Attack and 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • For Winds & Waves, the core moveset is Flamethrower, Drain Punch, Giga Drain, and Volt Switch. Flamethrower leads at 0% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.

Game Availability

Eelektross joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 9 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
