Stats & Training
Attack and Sp. Atk carry most of Eelektross's stat budget. Speed's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
They crawl out of the ocean using their arms. They will attack prey on shore and immediately drag it into the ocean.
It latches on to prey with its sucker mouth, sinking in its fangs and shocking the prey with powerful electricity.
Eelektross Weakness
Eelektross is weak to Ground. Few weaknesses and 3 resistances make the typing clean. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 85 HP and balanced defenses, Eelektross can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

How to Get Eelektross in Legends: Z-A
Eelektross isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Tynamo from Black, Black 2, or Scarlet. The evolution path from Tynamo to Eelektross is covered in the steps below.
How to Obtain Eelektross in Legends: Z-A
Eelektross Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Levitate changes the entire equation for Eelektross. The 515 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flamethrower with Eelektrossite is the standard set.
In Legends: Z-A, Eelektross's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Levitate is what you want on Eelektross. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Eelektross is a special attacker with base 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
For Legends: Z-A, the core moveset is Flamethrower, Volt Switch, Giga Drain, and Dragon Pulse. Flamethrower leads at 18% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Eelektross joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 9 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
