How to Get Eelektrik in Legends: Z-A
You're catching Tynamo first, not Eelektrik. Tynamo appears at moderate rates in the encounters below. The step cards map the full 3-stage chain with evolution methods between each stage.

Eelektrik Weakness
Eelektrik's Electric typing leaves it vulnerable to Ground. Its Electric typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

Eelektrik Evolutions
Eelektrik is partway through a three-stage line between Tynamo and Eelektross. The chain involves an evolution item, so it's not a straightforward grind. So far, HP got the biggest boost (+30 from Tynamo). The final form adds another 110 stats on top. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
LZA Eelektrik Best Moveset
Stronger but still slow. 85 Attack at 40 Speed keeps Electric moves forceful but on long cooldowns. 65/70/70 bulk holds for a few exchanges. Ground weakness without Levitate remains a liability. The moveset is one evolution from Mega Eelektross's 145/135 mixed offense.

Moves List
Eelektrik develops a solid moveset just through leveling. Take Down and Thunderbolt show up naturally, and the progression handles both STAB and utility without leaning on TMs for the core attacks.

Eelektrik Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Eelektrik isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Eelektross to unlock its full potential. At 405 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Legends: Z-A, watch for Garchomp (Ground) when using Eelektrik. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 40 Speed, Eelektrik won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
In Legends: Z-A, Run Levitate on Eelektrik. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche.
In Legends: Z-A, Eelektrik fills the trick room role. It's a mixed attacker with base 85 Attack and 75 Sp. Atk. Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Legends: Z-A, Eelektrik does the job early-game if you need a Electric type on your team. Evolve it into Eelektross before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Eelektrik has appeared in 9 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
