Under Trick Room, Stunfisk's terrible Speed becomes its best asset — it 'outspeeds' nearly everything when turns are reversed. Electric moves can't touch it, which offsets the 4 weaknesses somewhat. Known as the Trap Pokemon. Flexible enough to run physical or special sets.

Stunfisk's spread favors balanced defenses over offense. HP leads the defensive side, Speed eats the cost. Yields 2 HP EVs per defeat. Medium-fast 1M XP curve to level.

Living in mud with a high iron content has given it a strong steel body.

Sword

Its conspicuous lips lure prey in as it lies in wait in the mud. When prey gets close, Stunfisk clamps its jagged steel fins down on them.

Stunfisk Weakness

Avg

Type-wise, Stunfisk takes extra damage from Water, Grass, Ice, and Ground. Electric moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Stunfisk's overall bulk (109/84/99) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

The build centers on Stealth Rock and survivability. Leftovers means passive recovery each turn, and max HP and Defense EVs give Stunfisk the bulk to set up repeatedly. Static adds another layer of staying power.
