Is Crawdaunt Good in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Playthrough?
ORAS finally fixes Crawdaunt. In the original Ruby and Sapphire, Dark was a Special type, completely wasting Crawdaunt's 120 Attack. The per-move split makes MoveCrunch and MoveKnock Off physical now. Water/Dark coverage handles Phoebe, Tate and Liza, and chunks of Steven's team. A Pokemon reborn by the remake.

Crawdaunt Weakness
Type-wise, Crawdaunt takes extra damage from Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy. Psychic moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Crawdaunt's physical bulk (base 85 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Crawdaunt Evolutions
Crawdaunt is the evolved form of Corphish. Breeding produces Corphish eggs, and they're quick to hatch. Evolving from Corphish gave Crawdaunt the biggest boost in Attack (+40), bringing the total to 468 stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Crawdaunt to get Corphish eggs easily using 87 partners from the Water1 and Water3 egg groups. Notable egg moves include Ancient Power, Aqua Jet, Body Slam and 10 more.
ORAS Crawdaunt Best Moveset
AbilityAdaptability doubles Water/Dark TermStab to 2x, and 120 Attack fires the boosted TermStab at power nothing survives neutrally. Only Fairy resists both types. The moveset earns A-tier because Adaptability makes an already strong Attack stat hit twice as hard as normal TermStab would.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. Ancient Power and Aqua Jet give Crawdaunt options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 9 types already covers a decent range on top of Crabhammer and Surf. The egg moves push it further.

Base Stats
Crawdaunt has an extremely violent nature that compels it to challenge other living things to battle. Other life-forms refuse to live in ponds inhabited by this Pokémon, making them desolate places.
Crawdaunt molts (sheds) its shell regularly. Immediately after molting, its shell is soft and tender. Until the shell hardens, this Pokémon hides in its streambed burrow to avoid attack from its foes.
Crawdaunt Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Don't let Crawdaunt's 468 base stat total fool you. Adaptability is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a cannon. Aqua Jet with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Run Adaptability on Crawdaunt. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Crawdaunt also gets Hyper Cutter and Shell Armor, but they don't compare.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Crawdaunt fills the cannon role. It's a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, the core moveset is Aqua Jet, Crabhammer, Knock Off, and Swords Dance. Aqua Jet leads at 0% usage. Crabhammer provides reliable STAB damage.
