Snorlax Weakness
Snorlax's Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread. Snorlax's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

160 HP and 110 Sp. Def make Snorlax one of the most durable special absorbers in the format. AbilityThick Fat halves Fire and Ice damage, and AbilityGluttony activates pinch berries at 50%% HP as a hidden ability. 110 Attack lets the moveset hit back at real power. Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Snorlax won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 14 types means it always has an effective option. Self-Destruct and Giga Impact anchor the STAB core.

Base Stats
It doesn’t do anything other than eat and sleep. When prompted to make a serious effort, though, it apparently displays awesome power.
It has no interest in anything other than eating. Even if you climb up on its stomach while it’s napping, it doesn’t seem to mind at all!
Snorlax Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Snorlax looks average on paper at 540 BST. But Thick Fat is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. B-Tier wall on our tier list. Curse with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Snorlax. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 30 Speed, Snorlax won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Snorlax gets Thick Fat, Immunity, and Gluttony. But Thick Fat is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. Thick Fat synergizes with Snorlax's base 110 Sp.Def, letting it soak special attacks as a pivot.
Snorlax is a physical attacker with base 110 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the wall role.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Curse, Body Slam, Rest, and Earthquake on Snorlax. Curse is the most common pick at 0% usage. Curse lets it set up before sweeping.
