Jumpluff Weakness
Ice, Fire, Poison, Flying, and Rock moves hit Jumpluff for super-effective damage. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. Jumpluff's special bulk (base 95 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Jumpluff Evolutions
Jumpluff is the final form in a three-stage chain from Hoppip through Skiploom. Breeding this form produces Hoppip eggs (average hatch time). Evolving from Hoppip gave Jumpluff the biggest boost in Speed (+60), bringing the total to 460 stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Jumpluff to get Hoppip eggs easily using 50 partners from the Fairy and Plant egg groups. Notable egg moves include Amnesia, Aromatherapy, Confusion and 9 more.
USUM Jumpluff Best Moveset
110 Speed makes Jumpluff one of the fastest Grass-types in the format, and AbilityChlorophyll in sun doubles it further. MoveSleep Powder and AbilityInfiltrator bypassing substitutes as a hidden ability add disruption. But 55 offenses leave the moveset completely unable to deal damage. Support-only at best.

Moves List
Without breeding, Jumpluff misses out on Amnesia and Aromatherapy. That's 12 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Solar Beam and Energy Ball, with Normal and Fairy coverage and more rounding things out.

Jumpluff Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Jumpluff's 460 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a support. Leech Seed with Bigroot is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Cloyster (Ice), Arcanine (Fire), and Nidoking (Poison) when using Jumpluff. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Cloyster is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Flying and Rock-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Chlorophyll on Jumpluff. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Jumpluff also gets Leaf Guard and Infiltrator, but they don't compare.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Jumpluff fills the support role. It's a mixed attacker with base 55 Attack and 55 Sp. Atk. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Giga Drain, and Memento on Jumpluff. Leech Seed is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
