Oricorio's Fire/Flying typing gives it an immunity to Ground. Only 3 weaknesses on top of that — it has plenty of safe switch-in opportunities. One of the newer additions from Gen 7. Sits at a decent but contested Speed tier.
Oricorio's built around special offense. Sp. Atk leads the charge, Attack pays for it. Tough to catch, worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It charms its opponents with its refined dancing. When they let their guard down, it places a curse on them that will bring on their demise.
This Oricorio has sipped purple nectar. Some dancers use its graceful, elegant dancing as inspiration.
Oricorio Weakness
ExcellentRock, Water, and Electric-type moves hit Oricorio for super-effective damage. Rock hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Oricorio leans toward special offense (base 98 Sp.Atk) instead of trying to wall anything.
No evolution chain to worry about here. Oricorio is a standalone Pokemon with no compatible partners for breeding through one egg group. Eggs come out average hatch time.
How to Evolve
Breed Oricorio easily from the Flying egg group. Pass egg moves like Captivate, Pluck, Safeguard and 1 more to offspring.
This build takes hits and hits back. Leftovers provides passive recovery each turn, Dancer supports the gameplan, and max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs mean Oricorio doesn't crumble to chip damage. Plus utility options backing it up.

Without breeding, Oricorio misses out on Captivate and Pluck. That's 4 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Sky Attack and Hurricane, with Normal and Steel coverage and more rounding things out.
