Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Version Exclusives
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire each lock 23 Pokémon to one version, from Seedot or Lotad on Route 102 to the legends you meet while soaring over Hoenn. Most of them come late: the fossils, the soaring legends and the DexNav Pokémon from other regions all wait for the battle with Groudon or Kyogre in the Cave of Origin.
Every exclusive and where to catch it
Each row sets an Omega Ruby exclusive beside its usual Alpha Sapphire counterpart. Every stage lists where you get it, marks the DexNav, horde, soaring and Mirage spot finds, and shows the first badge the game needs before you can.
When each version’s exclusives show up
The first badge each Pokémon needs: the badge that opens the road, lets a field move work outside battle, or comes before the story event that unlocks it. Exclusive lines before the League: Omega Ruby: 16, Alpha Sapphire: 16.
Exclusives against every boss
For each battle, these are the exclusives you can have by then that hit at least half the boss’s team super effectively with one of their own types. Level and stone evolutions count up to the boss’s highest level, and Levitate is factored in.
Counts use each exclusive’s own types, not its full moveset. The battle pages have the movesets.

How to get Alpha Sapphire exclusives in Omega Ruby
How to get Omega Ruby exclusives in Alpha Sapphire
- Both players need: their own Nintendo 3DS and a copy of Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire
- Where: a trade in the PSS with a player close by
- Connect with: local wireless; online PSS trades, the GTS and Wonder Trade ended with Nintendo 3DS online services on April 8, 2024
No one to trade with nearby? Plan each trade well: every exclusive line evolves by level or by stone, never by trade, so one traded Pokémon covers its whole line.
