Diamond & Pearl Trophy Garden

The Trophy Garden sits behind Mr. Backlot's Route 212 manor, a private lawn stocked with show-quality Pokemon. By his butler's account, a new rare visitor drops in each day.

Trophy Garden is in Sinnoh. In the story you arrive from Pokémon Mansion to the west and it comes before Celestic Town.

The Trophy Garden rotates a daily pair of rares on top of its regular Pichu and Pikachu, so the 5 percent slots change each day. Eevee, Porygon, Happiny, and the baby Pokemon all cycle through if you keep coming back.

Trophy Garden Guide

  • The Trophy Garden behind the Pokemon Mansion on Route 212 belongs to Mr. Backlot. After you get the National Pokedex, his butler places rare non-Sinnoh species here, with the last two placed available at once. You soft-reset and talk to Backlot again to reroll which one he mentions. In Diamond and Pearl these daily guests appear at Level 16 or 18 with a 5 percent rate, and wild Pikachu here can hold a Light Ball.
