AbilityPrankster as a hidden ability gives priority to MoveThunder Wave, MoveEncore, and other status moves. 106 Speed fires Dark TermStab from 88 Sp. Atk without needing priority. The moveset disrupts before opponents can respond. 50/50 defenses fold to any hit, but the disruption usually happens first.

Breeding's the move. Charm and Covet give Liepard options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 9 types already covers a decent range on top of Foul Play and Dark Pulse. The egg moves push it further.

Liepard Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Liepard's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting) and Pinsir (Bug), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Liepard's base 106 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
In Black 2 & White 2, Liepard can work for a story run. 446 BST is average, but Dark typing fills a niche depending on your team composition.
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Liepard's 446 base stat total fool you. Prankster is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a pivot. Thunder Wave with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Prankster on Liepard. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Liepard also gets Limber and Unburden, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Prankster is the hidden ability. It raises non-damaging moves' priority by one stage. Worth hunting for if you want Liepard to compete at a higher level.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Liepard has appeared in 8 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
