Conkeldurr's stats are solid on their own, but Sheer Force is what pushes it over the line. It drops secondary effects for a straight power boost. Only weak to Flying and Psychic. Known as the Muscular Pokemon.
Conkeldurr's all-in on Attack at the expense of Speed. The physical lean is obvious from the bars. Yields 3 Attack EVs and follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Rather than rely on force, they master moves that utilize the centrifugal force of spinning concrete.
Conkeldurr Weakness
AvgType-wise, Conkeldurr takes extra damage from Flying and Psychic. Its Fighting typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Conkeldurr's physical bulk (base 95 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
Conkeldurr doesn't evolve through normal leveling. You'll need a trade to get here from Timburr's line. Breed this form to get Timburr eggs (average hatch time). Evolving from Timburr gave Conkeldurr the biggest boost in Attack (+60), bringing the total to 505 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Conkeldurr to get Timburr eggs easily from the Humanshape egg group. Notable egg moves include Comet Punch, Counter, Detect and 8 more.
Guts helps Conkeldurr stick around while dealing real damage. Leftovers for passive recovery each turn, max HP and Attack EVs for the right balance, and Drain Punch as the main threat. Not the fastest, but it doesn't need to be.

Breeding's the move. Comet Punch and Counter give Conkeldurr options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 9 types already covers a decent range on top of Focus Punch and Superpower. The egg moves push it further.

Step 3Conkeldurr ✓
Don't let Conkeldurr's 505 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it A-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Run Sheer Force on Conkeldurr. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Conkeldurr also gets Guts and Iron Fist, but they don't compare.
Conkeldurr fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 140 Attack. Base 45 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Conkeldurr appears in 8 games, including Black & White, Black 2 & White 2, and X & Y.
Introduced in Black & White, Conkeldurr has appeared in 8 games across 5 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
