Gardevoir Weakness
Type-wise, Gardevoir takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Gardevoir's special bulk (base 115 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Bug, Ghost, Dark |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fighting, Psychic |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Gardevoir Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Gardevoir has a 518 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. It works best as a wallbreaker. Psychic with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Black 2 & White 2, but Gardevoir does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Gardevoir hits 618 BST.
In Black 2 & White 2, Gardevoir's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Absol (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Synchronize is the go-to ability for Gardevoir. It copies burns, paralysis, and poison received onto the Pokémon that inflicted them. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Trace is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Black 2 & White 2, Gardevoir fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 125 Sp. Atk. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Gardevoir first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and spans 17 games across 8 generations. It later gained a Mega form in Generation 6, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
