Fletchinder sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Fletchling but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Talonflame as fast as possible. Ground moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Ember Pokemon.

Nothing fancy in Fletchinder's spread. It leans mixed with Speed out front. And you'll get 2 Speed EVs per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.

Fletchinder Weakness

Excellent

Type-wise, Fletchinder takes extra damage from Rock, Water, and Electric. Watch out for Rock attacks, those deal 4x damage. Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely.

Breeding's the move. Defog and Flame Charge give Fletchinder options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Steel coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Overheat and Fire Blast. The egg moves push it further.

or evolve from Fletchling (Step 1)
  • At 382 BST, Fletchinder is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Talonflame before bringing it to any serious fight.

  • Fletchinder's biggest threats include Tyranitar (Rock), Swampert (Water), and Rotom (Electric), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Tyranitar is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage.

  • Fletchling evolves into Fletchinder at level 17. Fletchinder evolves into Talonflame at level 35. Fletchinder is a middle-stage evolution in the Fletchling line.

  • Flame Body is the go-to ability for Fletchinder. It has a 30% chance of burning attacking Pokémon on contact. Its hidden ability Gale Wings can work in specific setups.

  • Fletchinder is a physical attacker with base 73 Attack. Fragile — can't afford to take many hits, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 84 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many.

  • Fletchinder appears in 7 games, including X & Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.

Since X & Y, Fletchinder has been obtainable in 7 games. A Generation 6 debut means a shorter history, but Fletchinder has appeared steadily across every generation since.
