Togetic sits in the middle of its evolution line — stronger than Togepi but not yet at full power. Most trainers push through to Togekiss as fast as possible. A longtime staple going back to Gen 2. Ground and Dragon moves can't touch it, which offsets the 5 weaknesses somewhat.
Togetic's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Special bulk with Sp. Def doing the heavy lifting. And the fast 800K XP curve means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Sp. Def EVs.
They say that it will appear before kindhearted, caring people and shower them with happiness.
It grows dispirited if it is not with kind people. It can float in midair without moving its wings.
Togetic Weakness
GoodTogetic is weak to Electric, Ice, Poison, Rock, and Steel-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Dragon-type moves entirely. The Fairy/Flying typing picks up 4 resistances to work with.
Togetic connects Togepi to Togekiss in this chain. At least one evolution here needs an evolution item. Sp.Atk has grown the most so far (+40), but there's still another 140 stats to gain in the final evolution.
How to Evolve
Breed with Togetic to get Togepi eggs easily using 41 partners from the Fairy and Flying egg groups. Notable egg moves include Aerial Ace, Extrasensory, Morning Sun and 3 more.
Eviolite turns Togetic into a wall that rivals fully evolved options. Serenegrace and Calm nature stack with max HP and Sp. Def EVs to create a surprisingly tough defensive core.

Where To Catch Togetic in Sword & Shield
To get Togetic, start by catching Togepi through walking encounters at Lv. 26-28. The chain covers 2 catchable stages before reaching the final form.

At 405 BST, Togetic is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Togekiss before bringing it to any serious fight.
Togetic's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric), Cloyster (Ice), and Nidoking (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Rock and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 40 Speed, Togetic won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Hustle is the go-to ability for Togetic. It strengthens physical moves to inflict 1.5× damage, but decreases their accuracy to 0.8×. Its hidden ability Super Luck can work in specific setups. Serene Grace is the other option — pick based on what your team needs.
Togetic is leaning toward the special side (base 80 Sp. Atk). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. But the speed tells the real story — base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the trick room role.
Togetic appears in 17 games, including Gold & Silver, Crystal, and Ruby & Sapphire.
Since Gold & Silver, Togetic has been in 17 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
